I really should start listening to the radio every once in a while on really long drives, to make sure the East Coast hasn't fallen apart.

Frankly, I'd much rather be dealing with this election fiasco than with BLACKOUT PANIC 2003!, as the news kids seem to have dubbed it.

Good thing I am, then.

Whilst checking that my last post posted, I noticed this site has now officially gotten more than 10,000 hits over about a year (there was a period when the counter was banished because it was acting up). Woo Hoo! Thanks to everyone who's visited!

I will be posting sporadically for about the next month, as I am moving to Los Angeles and taking a very long roadtrip. There will be occasional updates, providing I can get access to someone else's computer, since this one's about to go in a box.
