The level of desire you have to do your work is inversely proportional to the amount of time you spend at social-networking sites like Friendster.
As in, if you have no desire to do your work, you will spend a ton of time on Friendster, whereas if you want to get things done, you will forget it even exists.
I realize this is pointing out the obvious in an intellectual fashion, but it's still fun to overintellectualize.
